  Taxonomy is the science of classifying plants and animals into an organized system.

• cynosure

  A cynosure is an object that serves as the center of attention.

  Sycophants praise people in authority or those who have considerable influence in order to seek some favor from them in return.

  Something that is sacrosanct is considered to be so important, special, or holy that no one is allowed to criticize, tamper with, or change it in any way.

  A misogynist is someone who hates women or is highly critical about the female gender.

  An acrostic is a poem or piece of descriptive writing in which usually the first letters of each sentence in the text, taken together, form a word that the lines describe.

• androgynous

  Someone or something that is androgynous has traits or characteristics that could be feminine or masculine; as a result, gender is not readily distinguishable.

  Epistemology is the philosophical study of knowledge, including its limits, source, and nature.

• eschatology

  Eschatology is the philosophical study of what happens after death; it can also pertain to religious doctrines concerning death and its aftermath.

  An individual's genotype is their genetic makeup that determines the physical traits that they as a particular individual possess.

  Hagiography is the study of and/or the writing of the lives of saints; that is, it is both writing the biography of a saint and the subsequent study of its contents.

  Ontology is a branch of philosophy that discusses such concepts as the very nature of reality, being, essence, and the ultimate entity that gives rise to existence.

  Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols and what they communicate to the people who see them; this word also refers to the study of linguistic signs and symbols.
