Usage

• commandeer

  When something is commandeered, it is taken or seized, usually by force.

  When an order is countermanded, it is canceled or reversed.

  A mandate is an official order or command issued by a government or other authorized body.

• demand

  When you demand that something happen, you give an order or command that it be done.

• recommend

  When someone recommends something to you, they say that you should do it too based on their own good past experience with it; therefore, they think it would be useful or good for you as well.
